About me

Hello, my name is Anastasiia Sukhanovska. Originally I’m from Ukraine, and now I live and work in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

I am freelance watercolour illustrator, I create unique, vibrant pieces for editorial, branding and surface patterns. Since childhood I was always creating an art, and through the years I noticed that watercolor is breathtaking and I finished multiple courses to master watercolor technique. This gave me a strong base to create my own art.

I create artworks both with traditional watercolor and digital watercolor. Traditional watercolor gives a lot unique effects, and magic of unpredictable and fluid watercolor. Digital watercolor gives speed and extremely clean results. Depending on a project I chose one of the options to achieve its goals.

I was not always an illustrator. I have finished a technical University in computer science and worked for a quite some time as mobile developer. It’s interesting how we can apply our knowledge in different areas, and my past experience helps me in learning new technologies and applications, in organising my daily work and in communication with the clients.

I have creative and personalised approach to every project, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for bringing ideas to life. I’m open for commissions and collaborations.
